Julie Goldman, MD
Dr. Goldman is a board-certified ophthalmologist. She has extensive surgical expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology, with a focus on corneal and refractive procedures, including complex cataract surgery, corneal transplants, superficial keratectomies, LASIK, and treatment of eyelid and conjunctival lesions, among others. Additionally, Dr. Goldman offers comprehensive medical and surgical management for a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including dry eye disease, corneal edema, glaucoma, and cataracts. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Goldman earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Harvard University and her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her ophthalmology residency and cornea fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Goldman enjoys knitting, crocheting, cooking, skiing, hiking and traveling both internationally and within the United States.
